Garden Play

Our weekly playgroup…

Curated by Maddie, a mother and qualified teacher, our Garden Play program transforms every moment into a celebration of the interconnected journey towards the beauty of holistic education, play and nature.

We are passionate about sustainability and respecting our natural world. Our resources are made from natural, repurposed, and preloved materials, and our local environment in Dudley is part of our playground.

What happens if the weather is wet? We keep cozy in our beautiful community hall and happily explore the garden in a drizzle. We believe it's important for children to embrace all forms of weather because it fosters resilience, curiosity, and a deeper connection with nature.

98 OCEAN STREET, DUDLEY

Our location, situated on Awabakal Land, is perfectly nestled between the bush and the sand, offering a serene backdrop for our playgroup sessions. As you drive in, you'll be greeted by stunning ocean views that set the tone for a day of natural exploration.

Our historical community hall, a cherished part of the Dudley area, is complemented by a beautiful garden that we lovingly tend to. A portion of our ticket sales goes towards maintaining this community garden each week, fostering a sense of stewardship and care.

Surrounded by tall gum trees, we play under the shade of a magnificent banksia tree. The blend of bushland and the small, quiet suburbia creates a tranquil setting, with a charming coffee shop just a few doors up for a cozy break.

Each morning, we are welcomed by the songs of beautiful wild birds, enhancing the natural ambiance of our gatherings. Join us in this unique space on Awabakal Land, where history, nature, and community come together for a truly enriching experience.
